Moxie very nice, is your unit a home brew or store bought. Nice quality day and night pics. Were they from the same camera.

Thanks
Tom

I sure thought it looked like a homebrew. The pictures were just too clear in the night and looked to normal in the day for a store bought unit. Actually by looking at the pictures, I would guess that the camera used was an Olympus D380 or could be 360L. But I believe that it is the D380.

Very nice setup. How do you like the home brew so far.

Tom,,,,, The camera is an Olympus 380. this camera was sent to me last September; so, this is the second time I've used it. I'm impressed with its operation and the pictures I get from the unit.

Terry the D380 is what people class as the best IR out there for their quality pictures. I have just built a D380 and so far I really like it. It is symple and take quality pictures. The reason I was able to guess it as the D380 is the quality day pics, most will have a tinted redish or pinkish look to them, or the store bought will be grainy.

Good luck with your cam and have fun.

Nice Commonwealth critters. Good Shooting Moxie. Maybe you should start your own trail camera business. You certainly got my attention.

Tom, Good luck with yours and lets see som ep[ictures. I've got to find a couple more Smart Media cards for this one. I've got a 64 and a 32, and would like to get two 128's. My 64 was full when I pulled it yesterday. Having a little more room would be nice.

Very good pics there Moxie. Your night time IR is just great. What illumination source are you using? Whatever its working real good with outstanding distance.

I have some IR Videos out on a web site that I have made with a homebrew Infrared video setup. click the link in my sig. Take a look
Thanks,
Ray

Good to see you again Ray. Thanks for starting me in the right dirrection with my home brews. After some final tinkering, I just got it back into the woods for some pictures today. Man the heat and pesky DIVE BOMBERS took alot out of me. Sure hope it all pays off.
