A Crazy Question

Does any one out there know how far an arrow will travel through water?
Assume you are in clear water hunting fish.....whats the maximum depth you would shoot? Has anyone shot their excalibur in a swimming pool?

I am not sure but if I remember correctly, I believe I was told that bow fishing was good to aprox 2 feet. There are some bow fishermen on here, hope they see this and give us the proper answer.
