I just use the ones that came with my scope---make sure lenses are clean
and you put it on so elastics are in an x shape on top of scope-------if you
can`t see to shoot------it is too ---early or late. After 10 to 12 years of doing it this way-------no problem.-------Elf.

I bought mine from Wally World
They are the Flip-Up style with the red button and they clearly have the #10 on them.Maybe I'm looking at the wrong # but that's what it says

Different caps (brand) may use different size numbers.

I use Butler Creek Bikini Scope Covers for all my scopes. I really like them, they keep out all the rain and dirt and one size fits all.

I saw those also and didnt get them cause everyone said size 4 is what I needed. But looking at them there size 10 looks like a size 4 on the blizzard one.

either way, I took mine to a shop that had them and test fitted them to make sure. I got the blizzard 4's

the plastic open up ones at probably larger since they are thicker

gutpile it is by no doubt the fact that's what they had and intended use is for protection only. However I have the see thru optical grade covers and do not have any problem with them. I can flip them up or leave'em down. Cost is close to the same for either.

I use my covers to protect the scope lens say if I am caught in a sudden dump of snow or rain and then they get opened at the moment of truth;looking threw the true scope lens. Its called protection that can be quickly opened to the real lens. I had a rubber one piece bikini cover on one of my scopes and there was a little snow falling with a outside temp-10. I was preditor hunting. It was so cold that when I went to remove the rubber bikini cover it would not come off quickly due to the cold weather. Ever since then all my scopes get the Blizzard scope covers. Good investment for any scope protection.
