come across nine fresh scapes

Went out Monday morning, seen a nice doe,but passed up on her but i did come across nine fresh scrapes on the edge of a bean field,put up a stand there the next day, hope to get out this afternoon.

Those scrapes are nocturnal. Find the scrapes in the staging areas or travel corridors. They pay a higher interest rate.

Haven't found any scrapes yet here. Probably a couple more weeks. I hope the one 8-pointer I'm after uses last year's scrape under the one tree in a small clearing that I found last year. I planted a food plot around that tree this summer, and I have seen him there a few times. Hoping the food will draw him out a little earlier in the evening, or keep him there a little later in the morning!
