New excalibur exomax gets nice buck

Post by Vic from Pa. »

My wife got me a new excalibur exomax crossbow, scope, flemish string, carbon gold tip bolts with lumenoc lighted nocks and rage two blade expandable broadheads for Christmas last year. The bow shoots great and everything works well.
I got a chance to shoot this buck the first week of our archery season on 10/06/06. I hit the buck at 15 yards and made a double lung shot on it. The broadhead cut a rib going in and coming out. The lumenoc let me watch the bolt hit the deer and see it come out the other side. The buck took a couple of jumps then stood looking back to see what happened. His back end went down and he was done. He never knew what hit him and it all happened in less than thirty seconds.
I found out how to post pictures so here are a few of the buck. It's an 11 point healthy mature farm country deer.
