Grew up in Alberta and my Dad took me fishing from about 8 yrs old, but I didn't get into hunting until my 20's when I dated a guy who hunted. Then I moved to Ontario and didn't have any opportunties to hunt until I met my husband 6 yrs ago. I knew our relationship was getting serious when he gave me a Savage 99 .300 LOL Now I'm enjoying hunting again!
Saw another thread title that said it wasn't for the "young" to read, and it got me to wondering just what our various ages are. Thought it would make an interesting thread to find out.
I'll get the party started:
I'm a '65 model.

I'm a 1943 model(63) When I was 18, I had all the answers; when I was 30, I figured out that I didn't have all the answers; now at 63, I can't even keep track of the questions anymore.
Age 50. Still can't believe how fast I got here. 25 years ago I started deer hunting with a bunch of guys in their 40's & 50's and was the youngest of the group. Can't say that anymore, I take several teenagers hunting with me now so they can pull the deer out. At least I have learned something with age.
