1964 - I'm 42.

Grew up in Alberta and my Dad took me fishing from about 8 yrs old, but I didn't get into hunting until my 20's when I dated a guy who hunted. Then I moved to Ontario and didn't have any opportunties to hunt until I met my husband 6 yrs ago. I knew our relationship was getting serious when he gave me a Savage 99 .300 LOL  Now I'm enjoying hunting again!

Saw another thread title that said it wasn't for the "young" to read, and it got me to wondering just what our various ages are. Thought it would make an interesting thread to find out.

I'll get the party started:

I'm a '65 model.

41 years, and feel like I was born yesterday! Man, how time flies.
..Now dont you kids get upset with us older folk.....I still spend 3 to 5 days each week in the woods....hunting..or checking my Trap line, I have used a bow, arrow sinse a kid....born in 1933....Ill be 74 come June.I have hunted in most of the states and some across...I have had a few up close encounters ...and a ton of enjoyment.....I enjoy reading what you younger people discuss....Good Luck to ya all...

I'm a 1943 model(63) When I was 18, I had all the answers; when I was 30, I figured out that I didn't have all the answers; now at 63, I can't even keep track of the questions anymore. :D

Age 50. Still can't believe how fast I got here. 25 years ago I started deer hunting with a bunch of guys in their 40's & 50's and was the youngest of the group. Can't say that anymore, I take several teenagers hunting with me now so they can pull the deer out. At least I have learned something with age.
