Post by wildwindom »

Well at about 5:00 pm this doe came in thought i made a great shot but waited 15 minutes went to look fer her no blood no arrow???? Looked for about an hour last night thought i didnt make that good of a shot. Went back at 8 this morning with my brother and his dog looked fer about an hour again so figured bad shot. Started walking back to my tree stan ( i was straigt behind my stand ) the deer took off to the left but found her 50 yards straight behind me!!!

Tagged out earlier this month as well. Really don't like having to eat a tag.

Congrats, it mightn't be a monster, but it's still a nice deer.

Did you launch the bolt with the custom string I sent you?

Congratulation. Glad to hear the news. She got a great coat and I bet it is why they are moving late in the afternoon. Sounds like your shot was on the money. :) :)

Congrats!!!!
How many tags do you get in your zone? We get 3 in my zone now, and I'm still hanging on to tag #3 in case I get a chance at a nice buck. Can't wait much longer, though. Out of backstraps from the first two already! Since my wife went back to work I have to fix supper and my 6 year old son always wants me to fry up some of those tough old backstraps for supper.
