Made it back

Post by ecoaster »

Just got back from Holidays. We spent a week in New Brunswick and a week in Nova Scotia. If it is possible, I may have overdosed on seafood. Had lobster, haddock, clams, scallops. Ate one or the other at least once a day  . It's hard not to when it is 1/2 or 1/3 of the price I pay here. My dad works on a lobster boat so I got a dozen REALLY fresh ones to cook up and bring back.

It is such a nice drive once you get away from the GTA. Some spots in NB we were driving at night and would not see another car for 15 or 20 minutes. Oh well, only 25 or 30 more years until I retire and can live where ever I want.

Hope the holidays were good to everyone.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

Welcome back!
I don't think you can overdose on seafood, but when it's fresh it sure is great to try.

NB is a real nice province. Patti and I spent about 5 days enjoying the NB coast during this past summer's roadtrip on our way to Newfoundland. For christmas we ordered cold smoked salmon from St. Andrews NB. One of our many tasty seafood finds during that memorable trip.
