Yote on Camera Today

Post by BigUgly »

Went out for a drive today and took the camera with me. Saw this song dog hunting for mice in a fallow field. Was in very good shape as you can see. Tried my best used a window mount and a high zoom lens. Could have been better but it was about 100 yards, very windy and really snowing. Anyway here it is.

Great pic!!! All I ever see are their tracks.

Must have been a good day for coyotes this was one of three we saw but the only one that offered a good picture op. We where out looking in crop fields around Durham forest trying to get pictures of either deer or turkey but was happy to get this pic.

It was the new Sony Alpha with an old Minolta mount Sigma 70-300 F4-5.6 lens. Settings 300mm 1/400 sec F5.6 Iso 400. Was using window mount. This camera is great for anyone with old minolta equipment and the lens has performed great for many years. Would love to have a 500mm lens but $$$. Here's another shot not as good as first but different angle could almost see the crosshairs lining up.
