February goose season

Does anyone have thew dates for the late goose season in the Southern District? I can't find my regs and I know it's coming up soon.

Feb 21-28 in the Southern District.

Thanks! We only got out once last February and it was a cold and windy day. The only geese we saw were our "Canada Tire" geese (that's what we call our decoys).

Was looking good up through New Years this year. Lots of geese flying over almost every evening. Rarely a deer hunt went by where we didn't have geese flying over right up until Christmas. Obviously the weather's changed a lot since then so we'll see what happens.

We're supposed to get a warm spell next week. Don,t know how that will affect things. The only geese I,ve seen since deer season have been
high flyers. Most stubble fields that I hunt around here are covered in at least 2 feet of snow

. So it might be pass shooting with the 10ga . No point in digging out the dekes. but we'll see
