Update!

Post by TYE »

Well, Peter hooked me up.

Got my new limbs in the mail today, put the ol Phoenix back together, and I'm gonna go give her a few shots.

Thank you Excalibur!

I see what you guys mean when you say Excalibur has the best customer service. I think they also have the best customers! All of you in this forum are great people and help ANYONE out with anything. I've learned everything I know from all you guys.

Hell, I even got a few lessons on life from you guys! Oh and I can't forget the lesson I got from Gary. HOW TO EAT AN OREO COOKIE! lol

Good deal, Tye. I felt like they would fix you up, judging from what everyone says about their excellent customer service.

Hope you can keep learning from the forum.

Have you ever tried holding your head against the computer monitor while the forum is up? Maybe you can learn by OSMOSIS :!:

I tried it myself, but I think my skull is too thick.

LOL

I helped my buddy remove an awning and deck today, then we came back here and shot my phoenix and the vixen.

My Phoenix is back in business and shooting as good as ever! :D

Which bowstring did you put back on your Phoenix the fast flight flemish or the excel, I thought since a dryfire with a FFF had something to do with the damage to your Phoenix you might go to the excel which is more forgiving on a dryfire.

I have Excel, Dacron and Fast Flight Strings. I put a Fast Flight string on it.

I just got my new limbs installed on riser, complete w/ what appears to be new dissipator bars from Dan Miller. One oops too many, lol. Took total of 6 days both ways, no charge. While waiting, I took the assy off Emax and bolted it on Phoenix, was 1" low at 20 yds. Gotta love this company!!

This week is just full of bad news and good news! :?

First, I get my limbs from Excalibur :)

Second, I break up with the girlfriend...

Third, I find out a guy I went to school with, died in a car crash yesterday!

Fourth, I get woken up today by a phone call from Walmart asking me if I'm still looking for a job and arranging another interview for me on Monday.

I don't wanna know what's next.

I'm goin' snowboarding at Kirby on Sunday, will be my last time out this "winter" ....I'm wonderin' if I should take it easy, so I don't kill myself or somethin' lol

Tye, since good luck comes in twos and bad luck in threes. I say you should rethink the snow board outing.
