Went out this morning dispite the rain and got me a jake. Not very big, but now I can concentrate on getting a Tom with the exomag. Will fill in the details later. Gotta run.

Here's the story. Seen a bunch of turkey's crossing a field this morning. There were about 5 jakes, 5 hens and a gobbler in the group. I crawed on my hands and knees up a fence line to try to cut them off but they angled away from the fenceline. I could see 2 jakes about 75 yards away and decided to sit and try a call. They came practically running in and dropped the one at 15 yards. This is my first jake and couldn't pass up the opportunity, but it was a rather large one. Back at it for number 2 with the Exomag.
