Good read DW! You can bet that I will buy the Anniversary addition bow unless its a pig to pull like a Max.

If I had to guess, I'd say that the 25th Anniversary Edition will focus on ergonomic improvements rather than cosmetics ones.

Will just have to wait and see.

I think blending the old with the new would be most appropriate for celebrating a 25th anniversary. Perhaps a limited run of wood stocked bows?

I'll buy one also if it isn't a speed bow.
Agreed! I think there are bows like the Max and my Vulcan that are amazing to shoot but I think most archers would rather have bows that are nice to shoot. Well thats just one man's opinion. :D

Maybe they can offer their 25th anniversary edition in multiple configurations. People are as different as the crossbow models are; I don't find the Exomax hard to cock, or difficult to shoot. Why not put out a special model in multiple draw weights to match multiple shooters?

While we're fantasizing, I'd like to see a 300 lb. model, just for kicks.

Think of the spears you could toss with that puppy! :D

I'd like to see the new stock available on the 175 and 150# versions.

I just hope they keep the PRICE where the common man can afford it. Some of us older folks on a set income like disability want to play too .

Mastadons!

I lament their passing.

Think of the steaks.

I'm a staunch advocate of heavy and fast.

On the other hand, I like to play with lighter stuff.

A couple of years ago, I dropped from a 75 to a 55 pound longbow for recreational shooting, and was glad I did. I think my shoulder was glad, too.

Fortunately, except for my wooden thumb, I'm pretty much OK. Want to stay that way, though, so the Max will do. :D

I think a run of Wolverines would be a good way to commemorate the anniversary. Never owned one, but I have had the chance to examine one up close. A very basic & functional crossbow, for sure.

Well, I have fun with my pig, MAX. I got a couple of very light bolts that I shoot with the Fast Flight Flemish string and with the brace height pushing as close to the riser as the line will let me go. That thing is bullet fast. It's hard from 30 yards or less for my eye to follow the bolt to the target. I pull the trigger and the bolt simply appears in the bullseye . . .it's awesome. I also have a 140 gr field tip with a heavier bolt I shoot with the brace height back a bit, coupled with the dacron string. It's smooth and a dead ringer . . .I can enjoy watching the bolt hit the bullseye.

I'm going with a heavier set up for hunting, mainly because I can watch the bolt slam into the target. Both fast and faster set-ups are very accurate with my MAX.

Oh yeah . . .back to the subject matter . . .I'll vote for all camo with the dampener system. Give it to me fast . . .
I'd rather wear out than rust out.
