I'm shoot'n 175# 20" 2216 with the flat nock 5" plastic Vanes and 100 grain tip,,,, Excal says 305fps. for my Phoenix
I think the arrow weight (total package) is around 450 grains,,, What would this bow be shooting in truth with this set up??
I will take it to shoot through a Crono but it will be later
I want to fix her up for her top FPS without streaching the outer limits and I want to do this SAFELY for the bow and myself.....any suggestions?

You didn't say which string yer shooting. I'd say around 290 fps. They shoot a light 350 gr. arrow, it may get 305 fps. using Flemish Fast Flyte string.

Yep; I agree with SPH. a Fast Flight Flemish String will add some FPS.
Your bow must shoot arrows heavier than 350Grains. Therefore get some 2213s, or some GT Laser IIs with aluminum inserts, and 100Grain Heads to max out your speed.

Most likely a dacron string, good strings great on the limbs. So 285/290 fps best est. Don't get all hungup about fast speed. Its great to have in 3-D's fer less error of range est's. I use a 1999 carved tip Vixen with dacron string & at this time 560 gr. arrows. She is great hunting and out to 30 yds. shines!
Fps from mine is est. of 260 tops.

Haven't you shot two deer with it already?
I'd say it's shooting
fast enough!
We're always looking for more, though, aren't we?
