Carrying Extree Bolts

Post by Moniteaumule »

How many of you guys carry Extra Bolts with you when hunting?

Here in Missouri, you can sometimes get into some serious shooting. You can shoot one Buck before Rifle Season and One after, and as many does as you can afford, along with turkeys.

You can burn up 4 bolts pretty darn quick with 1 kill each. On those all day hunts, I carry 3 extra bolts in a PVC Tube, Painted camo and 3 Broadheads in a protective container. Just in case.

On evening or quick hunts, I just carry the standard issue of 4.

I have the four bolt that I leave in the SUV, fully loaded. I carry a 6 bolt . . .and sometimes, that hasn't been enough.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.
