Photo of my first Buck

Post by Dimteni »

[imhttp://s235.photobucket.com/albums/ee79/Dimteni/th_Buck07.jpgg]

Trying to post a picture for the first time. I was a little ashamed to post a picture of a buck taken with a rifle but seeing as it was my first buck ever I thought I would do it anyway. (It's taken a month to work up the courage:-). Hope I will be able to post again when I start cb hunting next week.

I shot this 7 point Mule deer buck at 200 plus yards with a 270. I was suprised by its weight. Guts out it weiged 247lbs. (Is that field dressed or is "field dressed" without the cape and off the hoof?)

Way to go, Kevin! Congrats on a nice buck! :D

You have nothing to be ashamed of because you took a buck with a rifle, or because you posted a picture of it. This isn't the kind of forum where people have holier-than-thou attitudes about hunting with crossbows. If it was, I'd be gone yesterday!

Many of us hunt with rifles too ... and lots of other weapons!

Glad you're here! If you only hunted with a rifle, I'd be glad you're here!
