FYI , WMU80 , WMU87 extra tags ...

Post by R.J. »

Now that Sandman is back in the rotation we will be hunting some WMU87 properties ...

He picked up an Extra Tag antler/anterless for WMU80 and same for WMU87 ...

I called MNR ( Service Ontario Office ) .... they told me that that they have approx 175 WMU80 tags and approx 225 WMU87 tags left .

I guess they didn't go as quickly as they figured they would ...

It's funny .... at the start of the season they said , get in line early , cause when they go on sale they will be gone quickly !

Lots of does around late seasons .... extra tags are a great opportunity to hunt over the Christmas holidays if you tagged out early , and now with them being antler / antlerless = bonus if you locate a mature buck in the next rut ...

Nothing goes to waste in our circle of friends and family !
