flat or HF nocks for a Horton?

a buddy gave me his horton xbow a few months ago w/ some bolts(HF). ive only shot excalibur and 10 pt xbows whcih require flat nocks. can i shoot a flat nock w/ my Horton? thanks in advance

Horton says to use the "moon" nocks with their crossbows.
I have shot a lot of flat nocks on a Horton with no problems, but I'd say it would probably be a good idea to use what they recommend for warranty purposes.

I've been using my friend's Horton all fall and have been shooting flat nocked bolts. I have not seen any difference with performance.
