I manged to keep them on the Equinox by making sure the area of application was prepped with alcohol and keeping my fingers off the applicatiuon tape on the LS. BUT, I didn't notice much change in noise level and decided against using them after being told by Excal that they reduce bolt speed by 10-15 fps.r
Most using the Limbsavers on this forum use the pad type attached to a fabricated L shaped bracket and attached to the riser. It is intended to reduce sting slap noise. Sumner and Greywolf have both posted photos on their setup.
