First Deer

Post by bbbwb »

My daughter is off for her Christmas break from college and joined me today for her first deer hunt of the season. SUCCESS!!! She shot a dandy doe right through the heart at 25 yards. She was using an Excalibur xbow (1994 vintage) with a 125 broadhead. This was her very first kill ever so we are both very excited! I have enclosed a picture of her and the doe using A.W.'s "posting picture" instructions, so I hope it is retrievable.

Congratulations to her!!!!!!!!!
She looks like she's got a firm grip on the Excalibur - are you sure you're going to be able to get it back from her?

Wabi:
I am sure you understand that as my daughter progressed in the necessary requirements to obtain her hunting licence etc, I realized that I-- dad needed to get another xbow. Therefore I-- dad purchased the Exocet 200 and gave daughter the older exocet(1994). The new one being a heavier draw weight, it was deemed best that she use the lighter weight one. I think that I have heard this "logic" used before to get something new ---HAHAHA.
However, all joking aside, I am very proud of her.
