I Got Accepted

Post by DropTine »

I recieved a letter in the mail today from Mohawk College saying that I got accepted :) I applied for Electrical Engineering Power course (Electrician). I think im not going to go now, I'm planning on staying back in grade 12 an extra semester to upgrade to a university level math to make it that much easier.

Way to go guys. Hey, are you just staying back so you can update your Math or are you looking to get into University for something?

I am in Mechanical Engineering Technology at Algonquin in Ottawa, honestly, if you understood enough to pass grade 12 math you should be fine with first year electrical math.

Good luck guys

Congrats. I stayed back in highschool for one semester this year and i do not regret it at all. Id recomend it to anyone. Not only am i more mature going into university/college this coming fall i have second semester (starting tommorow) to work and make money to pay for my schooling.

On a second note, im heading down to Waterloo University next saturday to meet with their football team coaching staff  .

Congrats on getting accepted.

I went that route. Stayed an extra year in high school for math to make things easier. It didn't help  . I struggled through the math at college and then had to take 6 calculus courses at University. The thing that go me through was long hours of study!!! It was really tough, but worth it in the end. Jump right in and work your ass off! It will not be easy, but electricians make good $$$$ and it will be worth it for a few years of study.
