Post by Ben Harvey »

Hey Guys,

Has anyone here ever competed or heard of the Seaway Challenge? Is this event any good, I hear they have a crossbow class to compete in...

Seaway Challenge

Post by BOB VANDRISH »

I have a feeling this could originate in Cornwall Ontario, the best little town by a dam site!!
That is the home of the Seaway, and where I lived for a good many years.
I have some relatives who still live there, and most of them are avid crossbow bow hunters,so I will look into it for you and get back with any information that I can find out.

Ben,here is what I got from my nephew:

https://www.oaa-archery.on.ca/index.php ... Itemid=152

It is the site for the Ontario Association of Archers and it lists all their tournaments for the coming season.
Hope that helps.

Cornwall used that slogan in promoting tourism after the Seaway dam and locks were constructed in 1952.
Does Latchford beat that?

Sorry,my memory has faded a bit-the Seaway system was all built between 1954 and 1959.
I should have known better, I watched it being built!
