ladies atv ride

Post by kitty kat »

The Four Wheelin Womens are having their annual ride for male breast cancer awareness on May 10. This year it is hosted by the Maitland atv club in Clinton Ontatio about 25 miles west of Sratford. They are expecting about 150 ladies and their atv's. All proceeds go to designated hospitals. If you would like more information go to www.maitlandatvclub.org. From there you can get on the four wheelin womens website. The trails they will be on are meant for the average rider. There should be lots of others to help if there was a problem. Have fun.

Sounds like an absolute blast!

Would you believe I've never been on an ATV?

You should be ashamed Vix  . Broke my jaw on one when I was 11. 3-wheeler rolled over on me and the handle bar smacked me on the chin. I was wired up for 6 weeks and ate through a straw. Minor setback. I still love them, but I don't go too crazy.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

I used to have a little Suzuki jeep when I lived out west in the early 80's. (ATV's weren't around back then that I remember.) I'd go off-roading with the guys and their trucks. That little jeep could do things and go places that the other trucks couldn't - was a hoot!

I hope this Women's ATV fundraiser event KittyKat posted here gets lots of participation - it's for a great cause!

Just an update. The trails are apparently very good and the ride is still on for May 10 . Should be a fun ride and a chance to meet new friends.
