does anybody know where a couple of new turkey hunters could find some land to hunt crown or private in the bancroft belleville peterborough pembroke marmora areas or anywhere in between any help would be greatly appreciated as we have been unable to find anything

Is there some crown land around you Mike? Good stories always seem to come from that land.
You can check the MNR website for a parcel in your area if nothing pans out on here.

no theres no crown land anywhere there is an open turkey season in my area theres lots of crown just not where the season is its private

Mike- there are turkeys in the crown land around Bancroft (so I've heard). Why do you need private land, there's lots of crown land in the area?

ya there is lots of crown in the bancroft area but there is no season here yet the season is south of bancroft where there is very limited crown land

Have you considered the Ganaraska Forest? I took the largest turkey ever there.
