scope questions for experts

what kind of crossbow scope has a gold deer head on it i am looking at buying one and the person selling it says it doesn't have a name on it just a gold deer head sounds like browning if they made scopes any input would be nice thanks

Dunno, prolly cause I'm no expert, lol, but i do know that a "V" or "L" zone is hard to beat.

The Excalibur scopes are honestly in my opinion the cats arse. :)

That's a Bushnell scope with the gold deer head-more than likely a rifle scope with only one vertical and one horizontal axis.
Best scope for crossbow is a Lumizone,with several markings for various distances,IMHO!

Might be a Tasco Golden Antler scope, I'd steer clear of it if I didn't know the brand for sure. As everyone else said, the VZ or LZ is your best choice.

If you don't have a name on it then you don't know what you are buying for sure. Might be a $5.00 scope! :shock: :shock: :shock:

ok thanks for all the input all very good points and the varizone is a very good scope i have used it before on my dads bow would like to buy one if anyone has one as well i am very interested in a lumizone if anyone has one of them or knows of a place that has good prices would be interested to hear like you suggested don i think i will stay clear that is a valid point thanks again

Ten Point's logo is a gold set of antlers...could be that?

Nikon buckmaster also has a gold set of antlers.

after input from the post and a picture and a little research it is in fact a ten point crossbow scope anybody have any info on these are they good or bad and is it worth buying
