Got A Few Questions

Post by DropTine »

Are these allowed in Ontario? The reason is it's me and my dad on the atv and his gun is in a gun boot and I have no where for my gun.

If not, what about a shotgun/rifle in a case/gun sock?

Also, when moose hunting, i'll often drive the logging roads with my atv looking for chickens(grouse) but sometimes see a moose too. Am I able to carry a shotgun and a rifle, or just one gun.

Thanks,

those mounts are perfectly legal i use them everyone in our camp uses them in fact the new arctic cats offer them as an add on they work well. i would suggest a gun sock as well when you use them if you want to save scratches. as far as carrying 2 guns you would have to check with the mnr to be sure but as far as i know that isn't legal.

I use the gun rack that mounts above the handle bars and sticks out over the front rack. I had past experience where if you pass to close to a tree you may just crack the back stock of your firearm. Learn that the hard way. Just make sure your trails are wide enough and you should be fine.
