equinox brace height

Post by beretta96D »

I removed my string after last season and will like to shoot tomorrow. It looks as though the string might have unravelled a little. how would I know if my string is too long now? I've read that my string is suppose to be 35" I believe. Can I twist it too much? Is there another sure way to tell what the correct brace height would be?

thanks

Twisting too much isn't going to be an issue in most cases. Untwisting a flemish string is an issue . . .it will unravel the string.

Do you think that's the case? Post a picture.

as long as the ends of flemish string are still tucked inside it should be ok. twisting it up is normal. on rail you should have 2 brace heigth lines don't let string go lower than the line cloest to riser or it will hit and tear it up. even if string is above the upper line its ok, just will shoot a few fps slower.
