Exomax

Should I buy one?
I have owned exocet 165 for over 10 years and have killed at least 1 nice buck a year with this bow. I will keep the exocet but was thinking of a Exomax as a second bow. What do you think? I am a large guy 6'3" 250lbs so the 225lb draw is no problem.

I think I am going to like mine. I had a defective scope ring and have sent it back via Peter's instruction to be replaced. Can hardly wait to shoot it.

yes, yes, yes, buy one,

I've had mine for 3 years from Archer's nook. Luv it!!

Just beware that if your up in the tree stand trying to reload quietly it is a chore and very ackward in a self climber! You'll be sitting take a shot, miss and then have to sneak up to a standing position to re-cock.

Hope I get my Exomax soon.... :D
This is the deer I shot last year with my 1990? exocet 165. The deer was over 200lbs.

Excalibur products just work!
After 10 years plus using a Excalibur crossbow here are my recommendations.
1. When target shooting don't shot in the same spot more than once. It is fun to shoot your arrow the first couple of times but it does get old.
2. Make sure you have a big freezer and lots of wall space.

lol...............I'm 6' and 150 lbs of the leanest, meanest and humblest guy around. Cocking the exo is not a problem for a guy with a healthy back, shoulders and arms. Now I don't go around cocking the bow without the cocking rope...gotta use it to centre the string.

I am going to pick up a cocking aid to make sure the string is straight.
I may have to go on a diet my tree stand is rated for 275lbs. Hope the new bow gets here soon. :D

Rather than the diet I just bought a bigger climber, the Summit Titan rated @ 350#, bigger is sometimes better. I'd rather have too big than too small. Just tell the salesman to direct you to the Man sized stands, LOL

That deer would look a lot bigger if I were holding it. 5'9", 160 lbs.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.
