Got One

Post by Tar Heel »

First one with my little vixen maxpoint compound , got a 25 yard shot using 350 grain gold tips and NAP shockwave mechanicals.
Got a passthru with a big entrance and exit hole and a good blood trail.
She ran about 50 yds.

Great job Tar Heal! She's a big ole sally  . Her coat is darker than most of the deer on the coast, you must be up in the Piedmont area? Congratulations man.
God Bless !!!!!!!!!

Bear and excalibur got together around 2000 and built a compound crossbow, excalibur furnished the stock and bear furnished the limbs,
they were called buckmaster maxpoint (the bear) and paradox (the excalibur), the paradox was built with a exomag stock and the maxpoint
was built on the exomag and vixen stock, the exomag stocks are 175lbs.
and the vixen is 150. The vixen only weighs around 6 1/2 lbs. and is a joy to carry and still clocks in at 305 fps. The vixen model is a rare find
I only know of two so far. They quit making them around 2005.
