We had 80 two days but today was much nicer. Mostly in the 50's but did get into the low 60's late in the afternoon. We've lost a lot of leaves in the last 3 days. Getting harder to hide out there.
Keep smiling!

Ever tried a BUG TAMER suit, Crazy?

They work.

You still have to protect your face and hands, but they help a lot.

CF: No kidding. I took the day off an mowed the grass. :) It was shorts and tank top weather. The bugs were terrible here today. I couldn't imagine trying to stay still in the woods right now.

The weekend is starting to look promising.

Hot here on our opening day--Dropped off friend and daughter in blinds and took my ole recurve and walked a loooong way through the swamp doing some scouting--went places i would never have attempted without my gps--found some intersting sites and outwalked most of the swamp angels :)

the bad thing is, its hot and a FULL MOON.. you cant get any worse of a combo to hunt in!

Grizz, I dont have any issues with them biting my legs and arms.. its just the face and hands. I wear the net facemask when its hot, but I cant stand knowing the little suckers are on that just trying to poke in

also it never fails you will get one thats smart and decides to fly right into your eye opening when a deer is walking under you...

I saw the weather channel and boy is cold air on the way.. ya'll in the midwest should be in the upper 60's tomorrow.. wont hit us untill friday night/saturday :D
