Finally Got my Buck this morning.

Post by NewfieJig »

At approximently 8:10 AM this morning got a 8 pt Buck. A 25 yard shot with my exomax (2002 Model, 200 Lb), 2216 bolt along with wasp broadhead. First seen a doe feeding the field then about 19Dropped him dead in his tracks 10 mins later this buck came running in the field. He starting to go back in the buch, I did a low grunt and stopped him, then did a loud quick grunt (new QB Brawler) and he came running across the field stopped about halfways, then i did another call and he came running again towrds my decoy, looked at me (sitting on the edge of field) and kept going, took of the safety and took the shot, dropped in him his tracks. what a rush. About 15 minutes later while standing in the field over the buck, turned around seen a bigger buck going in the Bush. My buddy still has his tag so hopefully we can drop him this week.

I shot high and spine shot him which dropped him right away, didn't mean to shoot high but the adrenaline rush i guess.
