Done for season but what a buck

Post by MrBigSticks »

I took this beautiful 15 pointer this evening at 4:20. What an exciting way to end my buck hunting this season. I grunted him from roughly 150yds to a broadside shot at 15yards. By the time he got to me my heart was racing a bit he didnt take a step a perferct spine shot the firebolt and 150gr boltcutter totally devastated his spine. No worries i will still be looking every day for fellow hunters stories.

When I read this, I thought you had added a picture with you in it, smiling. :)

How far away are you from Bement? My in-laws own 1200 acres of corn/soybeans there. I've never seen deer on the property. They tell me I got to get closer to "the river" . . .not sure what river they are talking about.
