I think their value will fall when the all-new Y26 models are released next month...

As of this morning, Eder's Archery has 17; Bowhunter's Super Store has 5. Thus, they are still readily available.

Bob--my y25 has never been assembled yet.Just a check to make sure all the parts are there, then back in the boxes. I have an Exocet 200 that I drag everywhere.

I spoke to a shop owner who put a new Y2K through a gun auction, they were very disappointed with what it ended up selling for. (Wish I was there)
I think the people who anticipated their arrival already own them, the rest will sell to people who simply have the extra money to spend on a bow.
A run of 500 would likely have put more pressure on the public.

I have # 100 ... It is my main hunting bow now ... It has many field related dings in it already , but that gives it character .

I have taken 1 nice young 8 point with it , and hope to take one bigger than the one I got with my first Relayer ( many years ago ) , then I plan to retire it and display it similar to what bstout has done ( with the certificate etc. )

It would be cool to display the two of them together ( old model , new model ) , then I can bring out one of my others as my main hunting bow ...

Here is a picture of my very first relayer that forum member Desertrat hand painted with a beauty camo pattern as well as a picture painted on the stock of the nicest buck I took with it .

Thanks Bob ... I liked the looks of your wood framed certificate when I saw it ... I'm going to do the same when I display my Y25 .

My wifes step Dad is into wood working .. I want to get him to make me a small wood mounting rack to display the crossbow .

It's on my long list of " things to do " !

Do you have a picture of your Y25 displayed with the certificate ?

That is probably a good thing. I would have hated to see you wear out a collectors item with all those deer you've been taking...
