Looking for a Wooden thumbhole laminate.

Still looking for a stock, if anyone has one. Had some pc problems after I posted before. I could not login. Looking for a thumbhole laminate, for a 2005 Exocet 200. Pics would be a great help. I think Mark used to make them, is he still in business? Thanks Don

Hi,
I love my stock that Mark made. If you can get a hold of them they are great. The only down side is they are way heavier than the Y25 stock.

the stocks look awesome, but those bows above look horrid.

the camo limbs definitely dont go with the colors of the laminate stock....

You won't find any of Marks stock match the limbs perfect. When I bough my stock 4 years ago I tried it will about 4 different limb colours, none matched so I left it boxed up. Below is another limb colour I tried.

Anyway when I bought my Y25 it matches no better than the Mark stock which you can see from the photos. So I decided to make a bow with the Mark stock and I would not change it now. What's good enough for Excalibur is good enough for me. I bet if you ask all the Y25 owners it only a very minor issue that the limbs don't match?

Here is one that Foreman had on the trading post and I don't believe it sold. He had two but I purchased one of them. He was great to deal with and its a great stock. I'll post a pic of mine later for you.

I purchased the stock from foreman. Thanks groundpounder, for the pics. Who cares about color, or matching. If your wearing a suit and tie maybe. My personal evaluation of the excaliber stock is this, fits well, is light, but makes more noise, than anything in the woods. I hunt mostly on the ground, not perched in a tree, because I can't climb with my shoulder injury. When your still hunting or stalking, every twig, limb or briar that comes in contact with that stock, makes a most unnatural sound. I hate it for that reason only. I think they should have offered a nice wooden stock like marks, years ago. For treestand hunters, weight should not be that big of a deal. I would have bought the new bow with the wooden stock, but it was more economical to buy a stock. groundpounder, the pic of the stock (The one I think I bought, if it was natural colored is going to get a couple of coats of bow dull anyway. I'm anxious for it to get here. Good luck to all in the late season. Don
