Keystone State Hunters...

Post by Apple_Orchard »

Recently got an invite to hunt in (PA) management area 4C next archery season (early Nov to be exact), and was wondering about what the rules are regarding the use of crossbows.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks much.

Crossbows are only Legal in 2B, 5C and 5D but it is up for a Vote again for Statewide in January.

Crossbows are Legal in the other Management Units with a Disabled Permit but I dont know how that works with Out of Staters.

Same goes for Non-resident.. but in the late seasons you can use CB instead of the flintlock as long as you get a muzzleloader tag... and can tag either sex with regular back tag

Crossbow draw weight must be 125 or more and 200 or less. This leaves out the Equinox and Exomax.
