Congrats on your hunt R.J. Those tenderloins will be soft and tasty. There's nothing sweeter than shooting or harvesting deer or game on your own property.

You may have all the snow, but we got the COLD !!!!! Down to minus 38 and 40.

Merry Xmas R.J.

Congrats on the buck RJ!! Great pics as well.

Hopefully Ecoaster, John and I can get out for another hunt or two before the year winds up. We still have a few tags between us to use!
You can take the man out of the woods but you can't take the woods out of the man.

What type of tree stand is that? Is it a climber?
Yep it's a Sumit Viper Climber ..

Yep .. gotta stay compact when you are driving a small truck !

I like the Phesant.Beautiful bird.I would like to hunt them someday
Yep ... they are cool birds and fun to hunt ... We have very few natural Pheasants in Ontario ... almost all are release program birds or game farm birds ... still fun to work the dogs on !

The thought of meat is making me sad though. Might be my first year in a long time without one.
Yep ... you have had a tough year ! ... Still some time left in the season though ... I'd gladly share some when we tally up for the group at seasons end .

Atta boy R.J.. I see you used your climber again. I have found mine to be one of the best investments I have made when it comes to whitetail hunting
Oh yeah ... A definate advantage for me when I'm chasing Whitetails !
