Prayers need.

Post by Boo » Sat Mar 07, 2009 11:41 am

I am not a Christian but it's times like this I have doubts so here goes.
As many of you know Sax is not doing well. He never wants you guys to be burdened so many know little or nothing. Tears are making it difficult to type! Could you all say some prayers for our friend and keep your thoughts really close to your hearts please?

Contrary to what some people think, Sax is not one to post about his personal struggles. When he has, it's been because it's been extremely serious and he was in dire straits.

I personally cannot fathom living with all the challenges that Sax has had to face in his life. He literally lives his life "on notice". Each day is a gift and he goes on making the most of what limited health and strength he has. To some it seems as if he lives "crisis to crisis" - and HE DOES! In spite of numerous downturns he keeps fighting and persisting. I cherish his positive attitude and encouraging presence here even more in light of his condition.

Boo, you know we will pray and continue to keep Sax close in our hearts.

He's also not the only one... there are others here who struggle with their health against the odds. I cherish each one of them here and I pray.

Sure will. Always do. And there are scores of people here in Tyrrell County who pray for Sax regularly ... and they don't even know him! They only know him as someone I know from an internet forum! :)

Prayers on the way..

That was very thoughtful of you..

It is the very tough times that we turn mostly to God. When the times aren't tough we tend to push God aside and say "Hey, I can handle it!". If we would just let God handle it ALL we would be much better off.

Sax - Friends and Family are often the reason that I find myself turning to prayer and in my mind you fall into both of those categories. Prayers sent ..
