I used to live in a high 'anti' area. 21 years ago I talked my hairdresser into going to the range with me for some skeet shooting. She ended up as a squirrel hunting buddy. It was nice because I always hunted alone.

Like Bstout I Now I live in an area that if they don't hear practice shots from my house they think we moved

You have such a great idea that I had forgotten about. Thanks Vix, for the reminder!!

Oh, I don't know ... less than 4,500. It was less than 4,200 in the last census. The recent influx of Hispanics has driven it up slightly.

It's the least populated county in NC ... a title it's historically held. :D

While normally I am very much against blonds and firearms (not from any stereotypes involving females with blond hair but from 40 years of living with one in particular) I must tell you Laura that I think it is finer then frog fur that you have decided to join our little group.

Ms. Vix, when I lived in the city and only had the ranges to go to I remember that as soon as I walked into the range and smelled the gunpowder I just 'cheered' inside. When you show someone a good time shooting, like you did, they will unconsiously 'cheer' when they go back. Especially when they do good. Like the celebration of a black powder rifle firing. uh oh, I'm getting carried away....

Anyway, thank you all for the warm welcome. I have been lurking a bit and love to read your posts.

I learned alot too!! Like not to get too close to the barrel around Mike P. lol. (even tho I'd enjoy every minute of it.) I'll try to behave myself.

Ya got me all wrong Laura, I am innocent I tell ya!

I am just a down to earth old ranch boy who generally minds my own business and stays away from controversy. It is the people here who lead me astray and down the garden path that get me in trouble! They are a bunch of instigators!

I was forwarded information from forum management and we did confirm a few of your past "indiscretions" but there was nothing to get in a twist over.

In fact, your brief film career will probably win you many admirers amongst our male contingent.
