That time of year again

Post by raydaughety »

I began sending PMs to members who helped Tyler reach his goal of selling raffle tickets to benefit handicapped hunters last year. Those that I contacted suggested that I post it here on the open forum again, just like last year. Thanks to the generosity of the members here on the excalibur forum, Tyler exceeded his goal and was rewarded with a beautiful plaque donated by the North Carolina Handicapped Sprortsman Inc. and the North Carolina Wildlife Commission. He also received a fully guided turkey hunt for his efforts along with a custom box call. Most importantly, he learned to give. Well, it's that time again. The tickets cost a little more this year but there are a lot of nice prizes. Here's the raffle information that I copied off of a flier:

DONATION $20.00 PER TICKET

THERE WILL BE 6 DRAWINGS

WINNING TICKET'S HAS CHOICE OF GUN OR CASH

TICKETS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ALL 6 DRAWINGS

DRAWINGS WILL BE HELD DECEMBER-12-2009

ONLY 600 TICKETS WILL BE SOLD

LIST OF GUNS

REMINGTON 270 WITH SCOPE OR $250 CASH

Mike, I'm going to check on that tomorrow and will let you know. I do know that we will pay for the shipping but I'm not sure what is required on your end. If anyone know more about this, please chime in. I really hope to get the support of my Canadian friends but understand where your coming from. Hey, we can all use some extra cash  . I know....cash doesn't have a trigger  .

Time flies.

Let's make it a two-fer- fer -Tyler this year and rally around him for this great cause.
If it helps get just one person back to the woods and out doing something it's worth it.

I'm in little buddy.
