Sorry to hear about your loss. I prefer my dogs over most people. A dog is the only thing that will love you more than you'll ever love yourself.

Isn't that the truth. They just do not live long enough. I still miss my Labs a great deal and they have been gone over eleven years now.

We feel your pain WW.

There is a place where all pets go. It's called the Rainbow Bridge. May you re-unite one day.

Sorry to hear about it.

I had a Bichon for 16 years who was our "child" for half of that until our first born came along. She collapsed one night at home and I gave her CPR for 15 min. while my wife drove us to the vet. She died in my arms despite all attempts to save her. Terrible night for our family. :(

We now have a chocolate lab that we love and adore who brings us total joy but we will always cherish the memories we had with our little Emily.

Even comes a time when you want your own kids out of the house but not so with a dog.

Give it time and remember all the good times.
