Anybody know who makes a horizontal rangefinder with scan mode and that you don't have to hold the button down to keep it on?

I dont know of one....But i bought a nikon rifle hunter rangefinder and i love it.Its very accurate....But it does not have the specified requirement that your looking for.Just thought id share that its a good range finder if anyone was looking for one.

I just bought a Bushnell Scout 1000 Rangefinder w/ ARC and it only scans as long as the button is pushed. As I recall my other Bushnells were like this as well. It sure would be handy for a bow mounted rangefinder if we could take our hand off the button.
If it breaks replace it with a bigger piece of steel

I have the Bushnell yardage pro 450 and it also only works when the button is pushed. A couple of forum members mounted a remote switch for their range finder that looked really useful. Here are the links:
