And bears, Oh My!!

Post by lscha »

We do not have bears, we have never had bears, bears don't live here, no one has reported seeing bears around here.

I just checked our trail cam and I am up north right now. Had to send this. Compared it to some deer in same frame during day and night and this is not a coon!!!! Right??????

Well . . .it's no pine tree.

Looks like a bear to me.

Funny, no bears have ever been reported to be seen on our farm in Virginia. However, a neighbor two miles down the road killed a 400 pounder . . .I'm thinking, maybe we have bears too.

there seems to be more bear showing up around here, closer to town in people's garbage containers in subdivisions... saw some pics of one hit by a car in west Texas recently ( not considered "Bear country"). I have also heard that seeing a bear"s shadow is just as bad or worse than seeing the bear! thanks for the pics and hopefully more!
thanks philip

This is in Evart near the Muskegon River. Cam is a Moultrie I40. I am in Marquette right now and can only check thread once in a while. I know there are lots in Michigan but never heard of one in Evart. Some are saying more are being sighted in Mt Pleasant area too.
