Looking for more walking wounded in Arkansas. Recently discovered our 'urban deer' permits are limited to verts only.

Smelling a rat, I contacted our F&G and was told it's due to the "farther ranges they shoot".

This has our state bow groups finger prints all over it, greedy buzzards, and I'm looking for emailers to support a campaign to get this changed.

I've got a nice pile of data to work with, btw.

I've called F&G twice and got basically the same run around both times. Their usual response on calls is a specific person handles that but they won't be in until............

When I ask for a voice mail box or email addy, they start the call transfer shuffle.

I'm kind of starting out slow, looking for local people that can't hunt these type 'gimme' hunts do to injury, you know, guys/gals w/ 'skin in the game'.

I found the email addys of the Commissioners and am going to mass email the data and whine to all of them at the same time and then go from there.

I suspect that will if nothing else get me to the one party responsible at F&G.
That's when I may need help. I'll do the scut work 1st.

Sounds like they are discriminating against a legal weapon that is primarily used by the handicapped/disabled. Good luck! I also would be happy to help with emails.
