"Dat's right. We bad ... just cruisin' the neighborhood!"

Image

"Cowhorn? Who you callin' 'Cowhorn'?"

Image

"Hey, guys ... I think he's takin' pictures again!"

Image

"Quick, Bill ... let's just eat and pretend we don't see him!"

Image

"Frank, I'm nervous ... there's girls in the next cut."

Image

"Don't look now, ladies ... but the boys are back in town!"

Image

"Just line up and walk away. Maybe they won't see us."

Image

"Let's go hide out in that man's yard."

Image

"They're still back there, Marge." "Don't look, Gladys! It only encourages them."

Image

"I wonder if that man's inside today?"

Yeah ... man, our soybeans got whacked this year. They were put in right after potatoes, but we got 6 inches of rain the day after planting, and five inches of rain four days later. :? :(

They were drilled on top of disking and rolling. Many were rained right out of the ground. That hard rain just after the field was worked shut up the drains in the cuts, and lots of low spots were so wet that the seed just rotted.

I estimate a 50% loss. They didn't replant, 'cause they had bigger plots than this 65 acres that were hurt too.

As long as I get 100% of the lease money, that's all right with me! :P

I do hate to see a ruined crop, though.
