The Buckeyes break there silence
Crazy was worried that the Buckeyes are being alittle quite this year. So I pulled a couple cameras today and found a buck I can share I don't want the odds in Vegas to change to much!

Looks like a keeper.
I'm getting things ready down here in southern Ohio. Working on the feeders this weekend and adjusting blind/stand locations. Only saw one buck this weekend, and he wasn't much (small 4 point), but I saw a doe I would definitely like to get into crossbow range! She would fill up 1/3 of my small freezer!

he's a brute no doubt!! Definitely what Ohio has to offer
now how many typical pts does he actaully have?? 8 or 9
contest aside, do ya'll have his sheds or is he new to the woods? Though we will still kick your butts, I wish you the best on him

Yeah he looks like he will end up with 8 or 9 typical points. I don't have his sheds i'm scouting this buck for my cousin on the family farm. I've never even bow hunted it. So the chances of me getting this buck are very small. Only if he doesn't listen to me Then I will be forced to step in. I did however get to see the buck I am after tonight. First time I have got to see him this year. He has us scared, but boy it was worth the wait! He looks alot like your buck Crazy!crazyfarmer wrote:no wonder I didnt have many buck pics this weekend... you pulled my cards

Yeah I figured him to be a hair under 150 non typical just by looking. I didn't get out the pencil. YET! He is a different buck for this area. He is wider than the norm, but he lack tines, and mass for our area. He is a cool looking deer though. I hope to not have to make the choice of shooting or not!
