I was there, where you are. Same delemna. Take your time because whatever you choose, you are going to live with it for a long time. The Vortex will be more comfortable to practice with, and confidence cannot be over rated. If I were to do it all over again, I probably would choose the IBEX.

Thanks to everyone for the advice. I ordered the Vortex lite stuff package from Cabelas's. I will pick it up at the store and let them assembly it and sight in. I am sure I will need alot more advise, like bolts and broadheads and anything else that may help. I have been reading much of the forum and will probably start with rage 3 broadheads.
