Gotta say this....
Just wanted to say that I'm totally amazed at the camaraderie, goodwill and generosity of the members on this forum. This forum is a special place and home to some very special people!
You don't have to look through many posts to see offers of help - skills or products that people are willing to share. Just today I spotted yet another post of a donation for a young hunter. I also know that much goes on behind the scenes in PMs or in person that we never see on the general forum. Quiet support and generosity without fanfare or wanting to be in the spotlight.
What I saw and experienced happening between forum members this weekend was just a snapshot of what goes on here but I wanted to share just a few of the things I observed on Sunday:
- A member helping another with advice and passing along necessary equipment, making sure that person had what they needed to get started.
- Out of the blue a member passed along a great product to another. Just because.
- As we were about to go back to the van for some change for lunch, a member reached into his pocket and saved us the trip.
- Members at the shoot had made arrows for each other, helped each other adjust strings, searched for lost arrows together.
- Most of us at the shoot had other stories to share of how the forum members had shared with them in the past. We also talked about the products that we had on our bows that were proudly made by forum members.
Members shared more than just conversation and laughs, they shared what they had with each other in the best kind of way. It was a very real extension of the family atmosphere that we enjoy here on the forum.
I know that the few hours at the shoot were just a glimpse of what members of this forum do for each other. I know I'm not the only person whose life has been enriched through the friendships here. I want to say once again how very proud I am to be on this forum and to be able to call you all my friends.

there in lies your reward that can not be matched in this life.
I agree with you Moni. This place is a refreshing place to come and visit friends. this is my favorite place to come..The one thing I have noticed in alot of forums is CLICKS. If your not in your out, they will not post remarks on your threads and will not take the time to respond to questions unless you are in thier click of sorts..That is one thing i hope doesnt happen here and/or doesnt appear to be here. That is what makes this place so unique. Of course the maturity level of many great hunters has something to do with it, maybe someday I will grow up..NOT Im never growing up I refuse to. LMAO
Rock On Forum folks..
