My Backyard Piebald

Post by Golden Eagle »

I have been watching this Piebald since June of last year when she was a Fawn. She made it through the First Year which I was hoping she would.
I dont know if She will be so Lucky this Year. I have no desire to Shoot Her as We all enjoy Seeing Her come to the Apple Trees and the Bird Feeders Year Round. I also will have no regrets if Someone Else Harvests Her legally, that is Hunting. I have Hundreds of Pictures of her from the Trail Cams over the Last Year. Notice the Shorter Front Legs and Tail and Long Snout.

Hope You Enjoy.

Nice pics of an unusual deer.
I honestly don't know if I would shoot or not, but probably not. (If I did I would definitely have that hide tanned for display on my wall)

I never knew deer could look like that. There not legal to shoot are they. I would'nt shoot something rare like that. Very cool.

Cool deer...hopefully she makes it through many seasons to come...around here if a piebald/albino deer is killed it makes the front page of the newspaper and is all you hear about the whole dang season LOL...I think I would pass on her and just enjoy seeing her....

Pretty girl, are the hooves white on her also? The thing with her is if you don't take someone else will.

Deer are beautiful animals already and then when you see one like this it is awesome.

Sadly it will probably be shot. We had one about a mile from us and many of us saw her all summer long. Neighbors supposedly agreed not to shoot it. Sadly, one neighbor said he would not shoot it; well, he didn't, but his girlfriend did...

I must be a bad guy because I would shoot her and think of her as just as big a trophy as a huge buck. They are legal here in Tennessee. Albino's are not legal here but only because someone with power thought they were "cute" A biologist will tell you they are usually of inferior genetics.

Ive heard the same thing. For genetics, its likely better taken out. But if were infront of me...... I would probably let it walk.
