here is a pic of the only way i found to quiet my limbs .can hardley hear the thing go off just the sound of feathers going threw the air
just jokeing but it is quiet. did you see the post with uncle ted and the stick on limb savers . looks like they help but i don't think you will every get it quiet enough but may save you if you use sts or ngss on a dry fire.i like to wait for the deer to come close enough that by the time they hear the noise it,s already to late

I can't imagine how much stuff I'd have to put on my Exocet 200 to get it as quiet as my Bob Lee longbow. From what I've learned on this site and from my very limited CB experience I'm in the camp of leave the Excalibur alone or get yourself a Barnett Preditor with its rubber coated nodule limbs.
Take care...

Have found through experimentation that things out on the limbs slow the limbs and therefore arrow speed. Stick on Limsavers on the limbs attached right next to the riser, do seem to reduce vibration on my bows. Quieter? Who knows, maybe a tad .... to me.
Vortex, Phoenix, single-shot rifles and handguns.
Incurable tinkerer.
Why hunt? Simple, it's BASIC. Why breath?!

I have the NGSS more for dry fire protection than anything
I am leaning tworads shooting a heavier arrow that going with noise reduction devices.
I think that will help and be better for my bow in the long run.
I have whiskers on my string though.

Not so much in the way of silencing the Bows, but removing more vibration helps. After that, heavier arrows are the best way to accomplish it. Removing vibration noise helps, and gives the impression of quietness.
I start off with all my Excals by removing all sources of vibration first. If I shoot mine next to bows that haven't done the same, you can hear the difference. But they will still make noise.
