Making of a wood stock Stage 6
Put a piece of blackwood on the grip. That blackwood is hard as a rock. Dulling all my tools, but it is pretty.

Labor of love it is. Until you actually make one a person has no idea how much time is involved. I pulled that stock out of the vise countless times to check its form. I do love making it for sure.

I've done some custom labor intensive projects in the past also.
There's always some wise guy that wants you to make him one also indicating he has no clue as to what's all involved!
Most of the time I learn something from doing a custom project...I learn that I'm not going to do it again!
